It's no surprise, is it?

So, 9 out of the 10 ESPN "experts" are picking the Lakers. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs2008/series?series=lalbos Yes, the Lakers have played better in the playoffs. But, these teams were the tops in their conferences during the regular season. The Lakers lack the size to matchup against KG & Perk. The Lakers do have Commissioner Stern on their side. They also have one jackass of a coach in Phil Jackson. Here is the latest picture of the LA Guru...

I'm not going to make any predictions, but I'll provide commentary throughout the series. I am rooting for the Celtics. I'd be fine with a four game sweep, but I know that isn't going to happen.

Speaking of gurus, it looks like Coach B is doing pretty well for himself. Maybe he was a little jealous of his star QB gettin' some. Kudos, Bill! I'm sure that you've already developed a blitz scheme to cover the package and a 2 DD Deep Defense, being the consummate football professional and all...Foxborough PD better stock up on their cougar darts, because it appears that one will be in the greater Foxborough/Wrenthem/Norlfolk area this summer. I'm sure they know that this type of cougar could be found lounging by a pool during the day, as its prey works. They are also known to quench their thirst with Pina Coladas or Frozen Margaritas...

Finally, I wanted to let you know about a documentary I watched last night. It was about two guys and a few friends who drove a Segway from Seattle to Boston in 2004. The name of the movie is "10 MPH" (http://www.10mph.com/). I encourage you to rent or download the movie, at least go to the website and follow the directions to register, they get a buck from their distribution company for it! It was pretty interesting to see how they were treated along the way. Even though one of their partners (the moneyman) backed out during the trip, they managed to get by on the generosity of people along the way. They picked up sponsorships from Chipotle Mexican Grill and Izze. So, they had plenty to drink and were able to get a free meal when they found a Chipotle. Their next documentary, 10 Yards, is due out this summer. It is a documentary about Fantasy Football.

Although most people were nice to them, checkout this clip when they are pulled over by a royal jackass wearing an Overland Park, IL police uniform. This guy was such a obstinate prick! This guy really rubs me the wrong way! If it weren't for Sgt. Solari, the cop's Patrol Supervisor, I'm sure he would have written these kids a bunch of tickets. Roll the tape..
