Well, it's on now!

OK, we knew that is was going to happen eventually. With the Celtics losing Game 2 on Thursday, they must now return it up and remind the world that they had the best road record (31-10) during the regular season. Although, the playoffs have been different. No, the Celtics will not have to play in the Pontiac Silverdome tonight. But, they will have to play in the Palace at Auburn Hills. You think Yankees fans are tough on opponents, remember the Pistons/Pacers brawl?

Let's not panic. It is only 1-1. It's early. Although, Antonio McDyess may think that the series may be over...

I'm not an NBA expert, but I would like to see the Celtics attack Billups. Rondo and House can both attack him by driving to the bucket (Rondo) and running around to come off picks (House). We need to test Billups' injury. Plus, I'm not happy with Doc's rotation off the bench. He seems to wait to long to pull the trigger on moves. If something isn't working, change it. Don't wait to see if it might change on its own. Also, what is the infatuation with the 3? Smart shots is what is needed. If the offensive flow allows for a good 3 point shot, fine. Don't force up a 3!

OK, now something more serious. White trash rules in Gardner! A 19 year old has been charged with kidnapping a 6 month old boy from the apartment where he attended a party. The initial natural reaction to the story is to feel for the horror the mother was going through, and it must have been horrible. However, with only a half dozen people attending the party, the suspect list was short. When police started to question Jason Bisceglia, the rocket scientist told the cops that he wasn't feeling well and was headed to the hospital. Thinking that he was in the clear and the he'd duped the cops, the Rhodes Scholar went to his house and hid the baby in the trunk of a car. Thankfully, the police picked up what Trash Boy was putting down. Trash Boy led the cops to the baby, who rushed him to the hospital for evaluation.

Luckily the baby was fine, but here is the rest of the story. The 6 month old and his 1 year old brother was taken into custody by DSS (the sentinel agency for children everywhere). Apparently, the family is known to DSS. We'll see how long they remain under the protection of DSS. I will bet that the agency will turn the kids over to another member of the family who will "promise" to not give them back to their mother. Mr. DSS, please check to see if the family member's fingers are crossed behind their back!

What is going on with society? Just recently, we've had the Southie fire tragedy, this case, a 3 year old that was found walking alone on Turtle Pond Parkway yesterday in Hyde Park, and a mother in Jacksonville was sentenced to 20 years for starving and keeping her FORTY NINE POUND 17 year old boy in a cage! Even when DSS tries to do the right thing, they have to contend with judges who have their own moral compass. DSS tried, but failed to convince a judge to turn the 3 year old to DSS.

Raising a child is not a right. Parents/Guardians have a duty to raise children properly. I'm not going to say to the best of one's ability, as it is apparent in numerous cases that some people simply don't have any ability. There are thousands of people on multiple waiting lists who cannot have children and want to adopt. I am convinced that these people would provide a better environment than the low lifes who are the kids' natural parents.

Enough for now. Until next time, enjoy this...
